I use a calligraphy pen for everyday note taking. I like both the Rotring and the Lamy Safari.The Rotring is smoother and more free flowing but, has more accidents.The Lamy is more reliable but, a little scratchy. Lamy Safari Calligraphy Black 1.5 Fountain PenBoth work much better with the ink converter and Noodlers black Eel ink.
