I haven't really used it yet but I find the paper and cardboard backing to be a little too thin and unsubstantial.

This is extremely lightweight paper. It is good for a child to use or to use for preliminary sketches or tracing, but it is not suitable for professional, final drawings.

Great price for the money. Really thin paper however and easier to rip. If you are looking for thicker paper, then this product is not for you. More for general drawing, as like someone said, not for professional artisty. However, it is still decent quality paper. It gets the job done, as long as you are just drawing for fun, like me. I just draw for fun for a hobby.

My 2 year old loves to scribble with crayons. The drawing pad had large, blank pages and it was a good price. That was all he wanted.

This pad is great for kids who want a large amount of space on which to draw. It's not professional grade paper, but I didn't *want* pro-grade paper. It's not flimsy, either, and my son loves it.

This paper is very thin, so use it wisely. I used it for several colored pencil art designs. Be careful using the gloss spray to protect your work. It will run, so spray lightly. I have used some of the paper for tracing designs. It has several uses.Have fun with it. The cost value is very good, so enjoy and be creative.

I wasn't expecting too much when I purchased this, so my expectations were pretty low. The paper is light weight (slightly heavier but comparable to computer paper). It's WHITE (not off white or cream like other sketch pads) and it's glue bound. It does tear off easily but the bind on the one I received was slightly crocked but wasn't a big deal to me as I was using it for note taking and mapping on my novels. I only used pencil so I have no idea if marker would bleed through. I prefer a heavier paper so I gave this pad to my 13 y/o son who is an aspiring author. It's perfectly acceptable for sketching with pencil but I wouldn't use anything heavier like charcoal or paint. Pastels (oil or chalk) would probably work, but the chalk might flake off as there is no "roughness" to the paper to hold the chalk (paper is very smooth).

Hoping to paint, but ideas to paper lead to great paintings. I know it will be great and useful in my future paintings.

Quality paper for pencil art or charcoal portraits or drawings. It out lines very well which compliments the subject. Excellent product.
