This paper is amazing! It is fun and relaxing to work with. It comes in three colors. I am glad I found this product.

This paper is exactly like those Zen Pointing boards, except vastly cheaper!A really excellent way to practice your Japanese or Chinese (or other language!) characters. One thing though: you definitely need a nice brush to use with this.

little expensive, but overall good. . . . . ... . . . . . . . . . .

I bought this to practice Chinese calligraphy and loved it at first. But after some use it started getting bumpy which makes it hard to usefor brush practice. I think I'd invest in a Buddah Board before buyingthis paper.

I bought this to practice brush calligraphy and it has been very nice to use. It certainly is a worthwhile investment--better than making mistakes on rice paper! I've taped 2 sheets up to a board so I have lots of space...it dries at a reasonable rate as well, not too fast and not too slow to where you have to wait and wait.

This is a product suitable for all ages, from as soon as a toddler can grasp a brush, to those of us who are losing their grasp. Unlike children's water painting books, this kind of paper seems to keep children involved over a considerable time. It permits variations of results, as opposed to just changing the color of the paper. (Be careful not to use anything but clear water. Water colors will ruin it. )For adults, the uses seem endless. In my experience, the principal value of this paper for beginners is that the paper enables the user to let loose with arm motion without fear of having left a permanent trace of one's ineptitude. Ink on paper seems to come more easily after warming up with this. Try out different shapes of brushes for different effects.I do not know the Japanese name of this "Magic Paper." Could someone enlighten me?
