I received this brush, about couple weeks ago. I am using the brush everyday. It's excellent quality and recommendable product.I have many different brush experience in calligraphy, for example, made in China and made in Korea whatever.

I was in search of a good brush for my Chinese Calligraphy class. My brush I bought while in China was wonderful, but too big for the work I was doing. My instructor insisted good brushes could not be found in the U.S. I researched goat hair brushes, found Bill's site, ordered the brush and made my instructor jealous. I love the feel of the brush on the paper. It lets me create the character, not just copy it.

I got this brush for a Chinese calligraphy class and I was shocked at how far superior it was to the crappy brush I got at Daiso for a few bucks. You truly get what you pay for, and when it comes to Chinese calligraphy, you need to pay at least $20 for a brush. With the cheap brush I could not even attempt to understand many of the techniques because the brush head had no resilience.This brush comes with care instructions, follow them closely! You do not want to ruin a brush like this by not washing it or damaging the tip.
