If you don't print the ink/colors lighter than what you need, everything will turn out far far darker once the plastic has shrunk down. This isn't too much of a problem, as long as you remember that step. Other than that, this is just fine printable shrink plastic. I wish there was a better price for this, but what can you do? I am happy to have been able to find this product here at Amazon!

Kind of spendy but definitely worth it. I have had a lot of fun with this product. It works great for stamping and is compatible with my copic markers. I've made personalized luggage tags with this shrink film and they turn out really nice. You can print both sides.

I used the shrink film to print photos and made a bracelet out of them. I had to lighted the picture a lot since the color is condensed when you shrink them but the quality of the shrink film made them look great!

I have used this product once (I just ordered my second batch today) and since it was my first time, I was super paranoid and read and followed the directions painstakingly. Because of this, I was able to create very pretty, colorful keychains that sold well at the event I took them to. All six sheets came out well. I do definitely recommend coating them with mod podge to seal the color. The texture is rough so if you're making something you would not like to be rough, this would be another strong incentive to use a clear sealant.I obtained perfectly flat pieces by waiting for them to flatten out in the oven and following up by squashing them down with thin a piece of smooth, coated cardboard and applying force evenly over it with something flat. If a rogue piece was too curled up out of the oven to squash down, I simply pulled it flatter with disposable wooden chopsticks before I put the cardboard down onto it.If you're worried you'll miss an important step just have a short checklist at your elbow to make absolutely sure that you lightened your image by 50% BEFORE PRINTING and punched any holes BEFORE BAKING. Those are the two big things you don't want to forget.

I used the Grafix shrink film to make 64 tokens for a scout camp. I set the printer settings to plain paper and draft mode. I cut with a circle cutter to make the perfect edge. I set the toaster oven to 300 degrees. Why not the oven? Well, I did them in small batches so no need. I placed them on parchment paper on the baking tray. The first batches took about three minutes. The later batches took much less time, because the oven was already hot. They curl up when shrinking, but just leave them be and they straighten up on their own. When they are flat, they're done.The colors turned out beautifully, the edges are uniform and clean. I think the project went very well and I'm pleased with the result. The next time I need a small plastic something, I will turn to this shrink film. It's wonderful.

This product does just as it says it does. Just follow the instructions and you will have perfect little charms. The finished texture is a little rough on sensitive skin though.

Grafix inkjet shrink film is the highest quality shrink film I've used to date. Ink dries quickly on the surface. Unlike the popular brand of shrink plastic, this stuff doesn't stick to itself during the curing process. As with other shrink films, keep a spatula handy to flatten the plastic as soon as you remove it from the oven. Highly recommended.

It works like shrinky dinks normally do but after baking the cut out shapes have a rough texture to them. Not scratchy but you can definitely feel the roughness that regular color and bake shrinky dink film doesn't have.Other than that it worked fairly well for what I had in mind which was printing out family photos and creating gifts for family members. Note of warning, darker pictures will seem MUCH darker after shrinking so if you have a way of lightening the pics before you print and bake them your pieces will look better in the finished product. Black&White photos came out just as nice and the color pics. One last thing, which I think was my fault for free hand cutting and rounding edges of my pics, is that some (not all) of my pics shrank at an angle making the rectangles and squares offset.All of the things I listed above wouldn't keep me from using this product again, but I know more now than I did before I wasted a few sheets. I would use them again, but better tools, planning, and prepping photos prior will be necessary. Hope my trial and errors help you out in advance if you're interested in using this product!

Simon Cowell is expecting a baby with his friends wife Lauren Silverman, according to reports.

The 53-year-old is about to undergo the most life-changing experience of all - fatherhood, say Us Weekly.

A source told the magazine: "Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while."

The insider added: "As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."

It is claimed the stunning brunette plans to leave Andrew a real estate mogul who she is still married to so she can be with Cowell - the alleged father of her child.

Simon was pictured with Lauren on a night out in March, when the couple went to the theatre with friends.

The X Factor boss has repeatedly said hes not cut out to be a dad but in April this year he gushed about plans to have a daughter.

"If I knew that I could be - how can I put this delicately - faithful. I do like kids. I havent ruled it out," he admitted.

Broody Si continued: "I dont think Id adopt. Id rather have my own. I would love a girl. But I dont think Id be good in the first six months."

It's a big change from his view on children in 2009 when he insisted: "God, no. I couldn't have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I'd go nuts.

"With kids, you've got a routine you can't escape from. You've got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen. When all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking."

But last year he hinted in an interview that he hadnt entirely ruled out the idea of starting a family.

I've always dedicated all my life to work, and at 52, I've probably missed the opportunity."

A friend - who has spoken to Simon today - told the Daily Mirror: "It's a very sensitive issue."

I got this brush for a Chinese calligraphy class and I was shocked at how far superior it was to the crappy brush I got at Daiso for a few bucks. You truly get what you pay for, and when it comes to Chinese calligraphy, you need to pay at least $20 for a brush. I'm a casual hobbyist painter, and had been looking for some knives to mix acrylic paint on a glass table top. I had tried plastic knives (don't waste your time/money), and other metal knives from a local art supply store, but all of them left trails of paint behind after scraping. I bought this and some other Liquitex knives, hoping they would cleanly scrape paint from glass, and they do a much, much better job. Though obviously pricier, the Liquitex knives have a finer edge, and seem to be much better quality as well.

I took Color Theory my freshman year of college and needed something to mix paints! i purchased a previous pallet knife; one that my instructor recommended. Shortly after vigorously mixing paint the head snapped off. The head was welded on and not one piece like this one. This piece is a little on the big side, If you are mixing just to paint small pictures this will not work for you. If you need to mix different shades and make values this is great. And as I said the "blade" is one piece going into the handle so you can mix without worry! Liquitex is a great company and I would order from them any day of the week.

In search of a late-inning reinforcement in the bullpen, the Dodgers are turning to longtime nemesis Brian Wilson.

Wilson, a former All-Star closer and World Series hero with the rival San Francisco Giants, has signed a major-league contract with the Dodgers, according to a person familiar with the situation.

The right-hander comes to the Dodgers as a reclamation project, as he is working his way back from reconstructive elbow surgery. Wilson, 31, last pitched in April 2012.

In the past I've had a technical pen of the same make. However, I purchased it in 2008 and the design now is a little different. The pen I got flowed ink on the first use for..maybe about a second. After that, it never worked. Ever. I intended to send it back but had been too busy so now I'm stuck with a useless pen. I've cleaned it and cleaned it and there is no hope remaining. My advice? Buy something from a different brand or the disposable ones.

This Chartpak Rapidograph is incredible! Easier to fill than the typical or original Rapidograph, and works very delicately. I can draw with ease the pen just flows for me, it's like it's doing the work, not me. It draws for itself. No, really. Very delicate lines and I also use it for pointalism. I've used Koh-I-Noor sets for years, they've always had the same flaw. The flaw is right where the ink cartridge connects to the front of the pen. After only a few months of use, with the pens I use the most, the plastic on the outside where the casing connects to the front of the pen, it expands and cracks outwards and eventually strips and doesn't connect any more.The flaw here is that it's made of a plastic that cannot withstand being tightened and loosened repeatedly. These pens ARE great for artists, I just wish the company would just fix the flaw instead of relying on a flawed design.As the reviewer said above, "Serious Artists should buy these" but I say, Serious Artists SHOULD NOT accept faulty products.I will not buy these pens until the issue has been fixed.

This paint is okay for someone who has decent knowledge in reducing paints and such. I don't know if I just got a bad batch but the consistency of the paint varied widely from color to color even with shaking thoroughly before use. For example, the black was fairly thin and sprayed nicely without being reduced. With that being said, the white and some of the other colors were extremely thick and would not shoot out of the gun without first being reduced. This is my second kit of airbrush colors and I favor the sgt. art brand over this brand as the consistency was more constant from one color to another.

These paints are AWESOME for the airbrush beginner!! My son (8yrs old) and I picked up a couple of cheap air brushes just to see if we liked airbrushing things over summer vacation, and I quickly learned that most of the time when air brushing you must dilute the paints 'just right' or you run the risk of damaging both your air gun and the piece you are working on. These paints are all READY TO GO. Simply shake, pour into the airbrush paint receptacle, and start painting. You can also mix the colors to create new colors (another great thing about this set being primary colors). Another huge plus is that they are water based and clean off very easily! This can be very important when you're talking about a somewhat messy and excited 8yr old boy with a paint gun in his hand! Easy to use, and easy clean up!

Pope Francis on gays: "Who am I to judge?"

(CBS News) Pope Francis frankly discussed topics that have historically been controversial for the Catholic church aboard his flight back to the Vatican Monday, including homosexuality within the priesthood and the ordination of women as priests.

When questioned on what his response would be upon learning that a cleric was gay, though not sexually active, the Argentinian-born pontiff said he wouldn't judge gay priests and explained, "You can't marginalize these people."

"If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?" he said.

The conciliatory comments represented a shift from his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI, who signed a document in 2005 saying that men with deeply rooted homosexual tendencies shouldn't be priest.

However, he insisted that the ban of female priests will remain in tact, telling reporters the question was "definitively" answered by Pope John Paul II.

Asked for comment, Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi told CBS News that the pope was "for sure" not just referring to gay priests, but to all gays.

Lombardi said this did not represent a change in church teachings. As Pope Francis pointed out himself in his answer, the church's catechism teaches that gays are to be accepted and welcomed, not discriminated against. Lombardi pointed out that during the press conference the pope specifically confirmed church teachings on abortion and female ordination.

The thing that was different here, Lombardi said, was the pope's attitude which puts mercy, forgiveness and understanding "in the forefront."

Pope Francis was returning from his first foreign trip to Brazil. He told a crowd gathered for the farewell ceremony at the airport in Rio de Janeiro, "I leave with a soul filled with happy memories."

On the tarmac Sunday night, the pontiff said his final goodbyes and gave one last blessing after delivering an open-air mass to three million Catholics gathered on Copacabana beach earlier in the day.

The faithful were gathered in Brazil for World Youth Day, a bi-annual gathering of young Catholics from around the world -- the group performed a flashmob to welcome the pope as his helicopter landed.

"The homily was so amazing and so touching," California resident Kayleigh Lembke told CBS News' Adriana Diaz. She added, "So simple but so profound."

Vatican officials are calling the trip a success and are hoping it will help invigorate the Catholic church.

This is the Paint: fine-grained and consistent, with great 'covering' properties.Gesso (white, opaque) is good for 'extending' a shade -- making 'more' of it, while preserving the color; it's almost as if the color 'coated' the particles in the gesso, rather than blending with them.Varnish, even when 'white', tends to ride on top of the paint, enhancing contrast (getting into 'pores' in the surface?), but also adding glare and 'grey-ness'.This titanium white 'blends' well (even when added to gesso to raise the 'gloss'), thins well (with water or with vernish), covers well (a very thin layer will cover even water-wet ultramarine, with no bleed-through), and 'draws' well (with the knife), due to its 'heavy body' composition.All in all, a good addition to the palette, as are other shades by the same manufacturer.

More for general drawing, as like someone said, not for professional artisty. However, it is still decent quality paper. It gets the job done, as long as you are just drawing for fun, like me. This paper is very thin, so use it wisely. I used it for several colored pencil art designs. Be careful using the gloss spray to protect your work. It will run, so spray lightly. I have used some of the paper for tracing designs. It has several uses.Have fun with it. The cost value is very good, so enjoy and be creative.

I wasn't expecting too much when I purchased this, so my expectations were pretty low. The paper is light weight (slightly heavier but comparable to computer paper). It's WHITE (not off white or cream like other sketch pads) and it's glue bound. It does tear off easily but the bind on the one I received was slightly crocked but wasn't a big deal to me as I was using it for note taking and mapping on my novels. I only used pencil so I have no idea if marker would bleed through. I prefer a heavier paper so I gave this pad to my 13 y/o son who is an aspiring author. It's perfectly acceptable for sketching with pencil but I wouldn't use anything heavier like charcoal or paint. Pastels (oil or chalk) would probably work, but the chalk might flake off as there is no "roughness" to the paper to hold the chalk (paper is very smooth).

Disappointed. Pencils seem like low quality regular colored pencils, waxy with little pigment. Water doesn't effect them. I wasn't sure if I would ever need one this big, but I am glad I decided to go ahead and order it. It makes covering larger sections really easy. These brushes hold a LOT of water and pigment, which makes them superior to just plain synthetic. They have a mix of natural and synthetic, so they give you the best of both worlds.
