Actress Alyssa Milano has released a sex tape to raise awareness about the bloodshed in Syria and better inform U.S. audiences about the atrocities that have occurred under the Assad regime.
Shot in the style of leaked celebrity sex tapes like the notorious honeymoon video by Baywatch star Pamela Anderson and Mtley Cre drummer Tommy Lee or similar offerings from Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton, the video features Milano and a male companion drunkenly shouting Cabo! on a beach, but then takes an abrupt serious turn.
Giggling, Milano and her paramour positioned the camera at the end of the bed, but as they turned toward each other, the camera got bumped to one side and turned around to face a television, where an announcer explained the violence and mayhem currently taking place in Syria.
I think it was a really fun way to get people to realize that there are important issues our country is dealing with right now, Milano told Mother Jones magazine. If people end up learning something about the crisis in Syria thats a good thingeven if I had to do a sex tape to lure them in.
