I wanted a tank style compressor and didn't want to spend much. I found this set and ordered it up without great expectations as it was so inexpensive. What I got was a great compressor that's quiet, works very well and keeps up with my brush work easily. I couldn't be happier with it. I run it for a couple hours at a time coating plates perfectly and precisely without any issues. I have nothing bad to say about the compressor, it's actually quite remarkable, especially in light of what I paid for it. The moisture trap works awesome and the tank drains easily with a wrench, both good in the damp NW winter. The airbrush is equally satisfactory and it's become my most used brush for applying thinned etching grounds and acrylics. The droplet sizes were perfect and consistently deposited on inspection with a loupe. The SB88 turned out to handle really well, the parts are all fitted properly and it's yielded precise results. I bought a really inexpensive gravity feed detail brush from these guys(a G233)and was pretty happy with it too.I've owned several Iwata, Paasche and Badger airbrushes over the years and the SB88 is a brush that can keep pace with much more expensive tools. I would definitely recommend this brush (and the compressor) to someone just starting out or someone who already knows what they are up to and wants an inexpensive teaching or utility brush. If you already have Paasche or Iwata brushes or favorite hoses that aren't 1/8" be sure to order adapter fittings, I didn't pay attention and had to order them after for my other brushes.
