Canvasses aren't cheap, especially if you go to the local craft store. These were an excellent price and the panels were nice and sturdy. Will buy again if I need more.

bought these for my preschool class, great size for use with acrylics and small brushes, we recreated a painting of Monet's Iris.

Yes it is canvas board and it is white I recommend this to any one who likes to paint or drawing.

I use a lot of these canvas panels to make small paintings. They are reasonably priced which means I can produce and sell a painting at a price that is reasonable for most potential buyers. They are primed and ready to use when I get them. I like the panels as opposed to stretched canvases since what I create is usually mixed media and the hard back works well for me. I have discovered that when I use them with polymer clay which requires low temperature firing that I must be very careful on the firing or the canvas lifts from the backing. This would not be an issue for normal painting and it is not a problem when firing as long as I use the lowest heat settings that I can. Overall these are very good.
