I'm very satisfied with the performance as well as the toughness of this brush. It allows for very even affect distribution, is a pleasure to use and cleans up quickly. This is one of the best values out of brushes I purchased.It is not only the since of the size, but the way the brush is manufactured or even hand owing to is extra complicated. The ferrule should clamp the bristles tightly to dodge having bristles come off with the paint.This sale has inspired me. As I went to inventory what in my kit looked-for replacing, the holding and inspection of the brushes had me thinking of a project. I bought this brush for watercolor painting. I have used it a total of five times now and it is great. I like the absorbency on the brush and I feel it transfers the paint colors better than synthetic brushes. The brush handle is easy to hold on to. I like the overall feel of the brush. This is the first time I have used squirrel hair brushes so I cannot comment heavily on its use, but so far I like it. I have several sizes of the Cosmotop mix B watercolor brush because it is such a fantastic brush in any size. I wasn't sure if I would ever need one this big, but I am glad I decided to go ahead and order it. It makes covering larger sections really easy. These brushes hold a LOT of water and pigment, which makes them superior to just plain synthetic. They have a mix of natural and synthetic, so they give you the best of both worlds. They are also a lot cheaper than a kolinsky sable, so I use them contantly in my paintings. Buy them--you will be pleased with the quality and the performance. Plus the price through Amazon is a lot cheaper than you will find anywhere else.
