I agree with all the accolades regarding this product. Its quiet, small, and mostly well made. Certainly a lot of product for the money. My only gripe is the impossible-to-unscrew outlet nipple. I don't want to over-torque it for fear of damage. Must've used red loctite during assembly. Anyway, I think the nipple is 1/8 male. It will require an additional fitting to use with a Paasche or Iwata hose. I did ordered a new hose from TCP, one I thought would fit, but wasn't paying attention and purchased the wrong one. I griped (even though I made the mistake), and they're sending the right one free of charge. All in all, very pleased with this company. Absolutely a five star.

tulieman888I was amazed how quiet this is! I use it to paint plastic models with a Badger 105 airbrush. I spray @ approx. 25psi in short bursts so it doesn't work hard enough to get hot. It has a pressure switch that shuts it off at about 56psi.Be sure to use teflon tape when you attach the air regulator, I had to use several wraps to get it to stop leaking. They sent a roll of teflon tape with it but it was unusable (poorly wound), luckily I had a roll on hand.Bottom line - I was very impressed.

Ron OwensbyI use this compressor for airbrushing miniatures. I can easily adjust the PSI from 0 to 40 on the regulator that comes with it. The regulator has an 1/8" male fitting on its output, so make sure you have the right hose and or adapter for your feed. I had to order a few different adapters from TCP before I got the right one for my 1/4" Badger hose. The motor is no louder than a sewing machine or power drill. Once it fills the tank, the motor will automatically shut off until it needs to refill the tank.

Alexander M. WilliamsI must admit, I was initially surprised by the diminutive size of the compressor assembly. It's almost as tall as it is long. It's solidly built and has a convenient handle for movement. One thing that surprised me over my previous compressor without a tank was the stability of the unit. The rubber feet are themselves cushioned on the tank assembly, reducing vibration noise on a hardwood floor or desktop. It's pretty quiet too, not much louder than my clothes dryer. It keeps good pressure, and the tank fills fairly quickly. My only real complaint was the pressure release valve on the tank is located so close to the feet of the compressor pump, that it is a little difficult to pull. I'd suggest investing in a long keychain or some sort of pull chain/cord. Also, if you already have an airbrush, make sure you get the necessary adapter for the 1/8" nipple on the compressor. It's a fairly standard size from what i see, but I was a little put out to see that my Iwata hose didn't fit automatically. The adapter should be fairly inexpensive, but you may want to get sealing tape to go with it. All in all, awesome investment.

Joseph RichardsonI went back and forth between multiple sites and stores looking for what I thought would be the best deal and the most bang for my buck. I'm glad I finally decided on this model for multiple reasons. I'm new to airbrushing but most of the lower-end or entry level models regardless of the manufacturer seem to have the same specs and are all most likely built in the same Chinese factory and relabeled for each company. So why not go with the lesser expensive one that comes with a tank and a regulator?I've only used the compressor twice so I'm basing my review of my limited experience with it, but so far so good.- It shipped quickly from TCP's South Caroline warehouse, it came well packaged, and everything looks like quality material and build.- It is quiet like most reviews indicate. I don't have any reference to other airbrush compressors. It's not whisper quiet but it's also not loud enough to be distracting. I placed it on the floor because it does vibrate and I certainly wouldn't want it on my table. Having a longer hose helps, mine is 10'. I posted a video on YouTube so you can get a better idea of the noise level.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [...] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- It does get pretty hot after a while. I was using the airbrush pretty much straight for a good 30-45 minutes and it had to refill the tank several times. BUT, this is exactly why I decided to go with this tank version. It limits the compressor running time and I'm hoping it extends the life of the compressor. It's definitely worth the extra money to get this version over the any tankless one.My main gripes come from there being too little information on what's included when you purchase this. In the box it does come with a short instruction sheet and some Teflon tape. I didn't know that so I ended up buying some $.87 tape at the store that I didn't need. It's nice that it's included, but I wish I knew before.My biggest issue so far....the outlet that TCP includes on the regulator is 1/8" NPT that fits their Airbrush Depot brand hoses. It seems like every airbrush company needs to use a different hose connection. I had previously purchased a Badger Airbrush and Badger hose from Amazon and that hose is a 1/4" fitting. So the compressor was useless to me until I placed a second order and received the appropriate adapter from TCP.Master Airbrush� Brand 1/4" Male X 1/8" Female Fitting/adaptor for the Tc Air CompressorThere isn't anything wrong with this, but it is inconvenient, and having the information readily available beforehand would have been nice. It's not listed anywhere on Amazon or TCP's website unless you pull up the specs on the regulator itself on their site.The moral of the story is if you have a hose that is not Airbrush Depot you may need an adapter and you should order it together and save yourself some time later.One positive from this, I called TCP Global to find out what adaptor I needed and the customer service rep, George, was very courteous and helpful so I can say I'm definitely satisified with TCP Global's customer service.To summarize:- Great value- Good product (Two year warranty from TCP included)- More information should be provided

Michael MannI would have given this product five stars, but the first time I used it, it locked up and was extremely HOT! Since, it has performed nicely. Pretty quiet, and holds enough air to supply continuous spray pressure.

DikI was very pleased with how this compressor worked. It was quiet, steady air. Light and portable. It worked great with my airbrushes. No complaints up until yesterday. The unit out of no where made this horrible noise and stopped working. This unit wasn't used much. Unfortunatly I do not have the paperwork for warranty. For the price I paid, I'm very disappointed that its already broken.
