Crayola 12ct Twistable Colored Pencils Shopper Reviews

Crayola 12ct Twistable Colored Pencils Shopper ReviewsI love the perception of non-sharpening, twistable colored pencils. It saves time, makes it easy for the child and parent without having to deal with the hassle and pain of constant pencil-sharpening. However, the twistable barrel tops are fairly loose, rendering my kid "over-twisting" and breaking the pencil in no time. The worse part is, Crayola doesn't offer the choice of a fill up purchase for the pencil, which means the fake pieces will end up in the trash can after the pencils are used up. Not sure how environmentally friendly this is. I am in suspense that Crayola will consider making refills.
- Reviewer 112

This was an item on the lecture give list. They sure have come a long way on lecture equipment for children!
- Kim A. Russell

Very good pencils that do not require a pencil-sharpener, and do no break.easily erased with a fixed eraser. better to use for drawing and painting than for writing since they could not be sharp enough.
- Dorit

These don't melt in the car or make a mess. Love them!
- Annie

We love these pencils. No sharpening, no breakage, no troubles! Splendid manufactured goods for big and modest kids alike.
- J. Romano

I bought these to underline in my bible. and so far away so skilled. The road sign are kind. My release hold up is the tip its a modest to around so makes it a modest tiresome to underline. Keep pro I kindness including the intention of you don't be inflicted including to agonize in this vicinity a sharpener.
- JPansitas

The Crayola twistables painted pencils are animated and easy to apply. My teenage daughter who draws anime and stuff loves it.
- marcia lewis

I bought these pencils specifically to use for studying my Bible, as you may or may not know Bible paper is generally really thin and highlighters and flush ink pens will almost permanently bleed through the paper. These pencils work really great and don't trade show through hardly at all! The quality is really good also, I tried some other pencils earlier and they were so hard I was afraid they would tear through the pages, but these are pretty soft and smooth, the colors are vibrant and rich as well. The single problem I have with them is that the first name of the color isn't written directly on the barrel of the pencil, and some of the colors in the larger packs especially look extremely similar and I have to scribble made known a line or two in order to ensure I'm using the aptly one for a specific theme in my Bible Study.Outside of that minor trouble I really like these pencils a lot!
- amwagers

These modest guys are awe-inspiring!! I don't usually allow my at the start graders to have painted pencils since here is no way 20 at the start graders can keep 12 pencils sharpened lacking concerning a lot ot time and mess. These are the exact pledge. They stay sharpened with no blast and mess. I approved a set for each outcome in my classroom and they love them. One caveat: if they hold out the lead too much, it will break off.
- conbrend

These are splendid! I by no means have to agonize in this vicinity sharpening and they pack up straightforwardly and journey water supply. They are a little bit thicker than habitual painted pencils so you can't get a super fair outline. They are extra like really emaciated crayons, but including the intention of works just fair for my wants. The road sign are a good diversity, too.

Crayola Classic Color Pack Crayons, 8 Colors/Box (52-3008) Reviews

Crayola Classic Color Pack Crayons, 8 Colors/Box (52-3008) Reviews
I purchased these because they are made by crayola.Their crayons are true to color, not like other brands where the color is off.My grandkids will get alot of use out of these crayons and will enjoy coloring and creating with them.I would recommend this product to others.
- bandit

Crayola Crayons are the best! Although, I noticed the price on here is more expensive than they are in most stores. If only I'd noticed before I purchased them!
- Jen B

Crayola products are the best on the market. When handing out my supply list for the school year I specifically ask the parents for crayola crayons. I just would like the paper to be more easily removed so that when the point breaks or is used up the children can more easily remove it to reveal the rest of the crayon beneath.
- Sarah Heartburn

The colors are vibrant. They are not overly waxy like the generic brands. They color very nicely and are reasonably priced. It's a nice size box to drop in a tote or travel bag - take them to the park, the beach, or just for entertainment on the car ride.
- DMR

You can't go wrong with Crayola. My son has drawn very many beautiful works of art with the crayons. :)
- Anastasia

What truly amazing technology: You just press them to paper, and next thing you know, the color of the stick is right there on the paper. Then, you just press down another colored stick and then another and... Well, the possibilities are just endless!
- Jason Nerothin

My granddaughter was thrilled and delighted! Who doesn't LOVE a brand new box of crayons? She immediately went to work on becoming Picasso.
- Joy A. Moriarity

Crayola are wonderful crayons, and these were perfect to have on hand for older kids at an event I co-hosted!
- aenima49 "aenima49"

When you are giving a coloring book or blank paper gift to a child, this box is just the right size to blend in with an existing crayon collection & will resupply the favorite colors which get used up, broke, or lost. AND crayons are always appreciated by both parent & child. Made in USA.
- E. E. Edwards "long time shopper"

If I am going to visit a child and I want to bring a little something, I like to bring an age appropriate coloring book and a small box of Crayola Crayons. Most of the time they have more crayons then they need but I have always liked Crayola and feel I have to bring them anyway.. I cannot walk past a box in the store without taking a sniff. I keep a box in my closet, so you can say I am a closet sniffer. I ould not even imagine buying any oter brand.

Crayola 12ct Color Sticks User Review

Crayola 12ct Color Sticks User Review
This is for the other kids that wants more artistic control than what a crayon gives. These are for ALL ages. I buy these for my son's class (5th grade). Due to the cost the school has only 30 packs for every class due to the high price. I highly recommend this item for a gift, for a donation to a needy child, or for a class room. There is more pigment so the colors are amazing and the kids love the results. This blows crayons away and it's more durable than markers.

Crayola 24ct Watercolor Colored Pencils Purchaser Reviews

Crayola 24ct Watercolor Colored Pencils Purchaser Reviews
Great as watercolor pencils and we also used them for face painting on kids which they worked great for...try it
- Susan Curp "susan"

Way more fun than regular watercolor paint! I enjoyed painting lots of things with them and they make the painting look way more realistic then watercolor paint! this comment is coming from a wonderful artist Yash! He has won many award thruoght out the school but all his first place medals were with these colored pencils that he drew with!
- amazon buyer...

Not a big fan, the color quality is better than the regular Crayola color pencils but sharpening is always a problem and the watercolor quality not great. I wouldn't buy them for watercolor use but for straight coloring prefer these to the regular variety.
- elenateresa

I have been using these watercolor pencils for nearly 10 years but the new box I just got is not the same quality as the old ones. The color on the old pencil is much richer, much smoother when coloring. The new pencils seem to be using a dryer formula so that coloring looks a lot duller. Thank goodness I still have some of the old pencils. I probably won't be buying these again but instead will buy artist quality pastels to achieve the look I want for my coloring, rich and creamy.
- Reine Soleil "Principessa minus kingdom"

The colors are nice and watercolor effect is nice. My only concern is the wood does not seem very good so they are hard to sharpen.
- Bargain Seeker

Crayola has long been the provider of my "budget" colored pencils... and while I've tried other brands, I've kept going back to Crayola. Drawing and coloring (yes, they make coloring books for grown-ups now, too) are relaxing activities, perfect for unwinding from an otherwise stressful life, and something that can allow you to connect with the little ones in your life... which is something the little ones desperately need these days! (Real interaction... Imagine that!)I normally use ordinary Crayola pencils, but I have tried the watercolor pencils, and I have to say... if I could afford it, I'd buy a ton of these. The main difference in my opinion, is that the color seemed a bit richer with these than with ordinary pencils. And of course, you can use water to create watercolor effects. Sadly, I only bought the 8-pack. But the more colors the merrier, right? I buy the other Crayola pencils by the biggest packs I can afford, and always keep every color on hand that I can get my hands on. But I'd keep these in stock too, if I could afford to.So pick up a pack for the kids... and while you're at it, order one for you, too. (Come on... You know you want to!)
- Ayatsuri Ningyo "- "Ayatsuri Ningyo""

The colors are vibrant. They spread as paint nicely when you apply the water. They do a really nice job. They are bargain for what you get.
- Thinkella Blackadder

I saw these used for "face painting" at a couple of kids' parties. That's what I got them for. Actual face paint is too messy. These pencils are great. I have a bowl with a wet sponge in it. Then I just dip the tip of a pencil on the sponge and then just draw on my kids' skin. They're non-toxic, so it's ok. They don't leave stains after it's washed off the skin. We have yet to use them for watercoloring. Haha!
- Razzle

These watercolor pencils are so convenient and NEAT. They can be used anywhere to do the drawing and when you are in a place where can be added - the pictures can become real watercolors. No mess - no water spills in inconvenient places - no holes in the paper!! Supervision is only needed at the stage where water is introduced to the drawing. The child quickly learns that light use of pencil produces a light er shade and heavier use of pencil will produce a darker shade. A second color can be layered over the first one drawn - and then blended by the wet brush with great results.I have since bought additional pencils and am very happy with the results.
- Jean Pulley

I purchased these to color in my Mandala workbook. They are amazing! Just a tiny bit of water makes these run over paper like they were paint however that dries quickly. I find myself constantly tapping the tip into my water bowl but that is expected. Wet or dry these pencils are the best on the market and you can never go wrong with Crayola. Well worth the price.BUT:They arrive sharpened and you need a good sharpener otherwise you can find yourself going through the pencils too quickly. I suggest buying the Kum Automatic Long Point Sharpener with these. Jetpens.com sells it for around 5 bucks (sometimes you can find it here on Amazon) and it will make any pencil or colored pencil last twice as long. So unless you want to buy multiple packs of these pencils then grab a good sharpener for them - they will last a very long time.Fast shipper, arrived sharpened and in perfect condition, Long lasting with a good sharpener. You can trust this product and the seller!

Crayola 3-D Chalk Shopper Reviews

Crayola 3-D Chalk Shopper Reviews
The 3D effect really does work, well sort of. It works best with the red/pink colored chalk, I guess that's why there are 3 of that color in the pack. The glasses have a special lens that picks up reds and pink colors making them look 3D. You can see a similar effect on almost anything of that color other than the chalks.I tried every color of the chalks and again only the pink/red had the 3D effect. The kids and I had fun with the kit but 15+ dollars is a bit much for chalk.
- Scott

I wouldn't pay as much as I did the second time around. Chalk broke very, very easy and seemed to go fast for as thick as you have to draw the lines to get the 3D to work good. For a one time play time it was fun...
- G. Vice "gammies"

I read so many great reviews about the 3-D chalk and normally good reviews on Amazon means I'll be happy with the product. Not in this case. The images do appear to float (slightly) but you need to fill in the images completely and press really hard with the chalk. The chalk iteself breaks and falls apart much quicker than traditional chalk. The kids couldn't get their images to "float" because they weren't pressing hard enough. I spent a while recreating the images suggested in the directions. The kids were slightly impressed but after looking once or twice with the glasses, they went on to something else. The pack of chalk lasted one afternoon and provided very little "WOW" factor. At this price and with these reviews I was expecting so much more. I'd suggest you save your money. You're not missing out on anything "spectacular".
- T Rose "T Rose"

Unlike so many other 3D toys and products which just frustrate and disappoint - this toy works as advertised! The provided glasses make any bright colors appear to float or plunge back into surfaces. Each color in the rainbow appears at a different depth, so almost anything your child draws will have an interesting 3D result. The great thing about this is that the glasses also work with drawings made with markers, pen, crayon, and even computer and video images. Anything with bright colors will pop to life.Looking up 'chromadepth' on the internet yielded many other images which appear in glorious 3D when wearing the provided glasses.
- J. Garson "artist and technophile"

All I can say is why didn't they have this when I was little!! The 3 d chalk is really cool. It is like the 3 d movies except the drawings don't fly at you. Makes the regular chalk seem old and boring. The only thing is the package comes with only one pair of 3 d glasses so only one person can use it at a time. I wish the chalk was bigger because of the price you have to use the chalk sparingly. I still recomment this chalk and intend on buying more. I guess I can use it as a reward system.
- Jerry Nettrour "Justine"

this 3-d chalk is awsome, the whole family cant help but want to join in the fun.all my grandkids went crazy for this and everyone had a lot of fun.had no luck finding it in stores, either they didnt carry it or they were constantly out. amazon had plenty of choices and always in stock. shipped fast.
- R. Truair "CEO of my home"

We got this product today when we saw it in the store. I was afraid it would be a disappointment and just cause frustration. But once we started using it we realized what a GREAT product it was! The colors really do jump out at you and make you want to touch them and put your hands through them. We used this with a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. It was perfect for sharing because there was plenty of chalk to go around and they would only use the glasses to see their artwork. After a while the 3 year old really got into it and just kept staring at her work with the glasses on saying "Wow" over and over! Here is a hint for when you first start using it, try to make thick lines or circles colored in with a different color outline. If you just have lines it will look good, but not great. When you have thicker lines or shapes with different colors is when it really POPS!
- D. L. Montgomery

The chalk doesn't really look 3-D to my child, it seems WAYYYYY too expensive for sidewalk chalk. The "3-D" glasses seem like sort of a gimmick to me. Stick to the cheap old bucket of sidewalk chalk and pass this product by.
- J. D. Lewis

These glasses are fun to use. They separate the color spectrum to actually make the colors appear to float or sink into a surface. I was a bit disappointed to find out the chalk was the regular Crayola sidewalk chalk used everyday. Essentially you are buying the 3D glasses. The good thing is that any chalk can be used after the chalk provided in the pack is used up, which goes pretty quickly. It can also be used with contrasting colored crayons or markers. Overall, it's a fun project and even young children can see the color separation and "floating" images. It's a good product, but they should just sell the glasses separately and indicate it can be used with regular sidewalk washable chalks.
- Dennis Leese "Diverboy"

Ten to fifteen dollars for a set of chalk probably seems expensive but this really is different and fun. The kids used over half of it the first day they got it and played with it for hours. It's also a pretty good way to teach them how the optical illusion of 3D works.Considering how many different toys are out there in this price range this is one of the best for the price. It's fun for the kids, since it's outdoor chalk it's not messy (inside :), it's educational and creative, and it doesn't take up a lot of room (i.e. it doesn't junk up the play room) or make annoying noises (or require batteries). It really is just about the perfect small gift.As a present that the kids will enjoy and the parents will still invite you over it's ideal.
