I was impressed when my daughter sat down to paint with this watercolor set. I am used to the dollar store crayola watercolors, and was in the family way a light wash to grow when she at the start began stroking her brush across the page. Not so!! These insignia and sharp and vivid and strong. A little dab of paint and they really make their mark. Well value the money, and I would buy them again.

These paints actually enthusiasm! Sorry to say if whatever business brushes up hostile to them as dried, a bit of the sparkles does come off, but it is not excessive. The sign are kind and rich as well.

I bought these idea that I don't know I could mix them with my pre-void palette for numerous illustration projects I do on and off. I cultured owing to trial and error that these paints do not mix well at all with pre-void 'habitual' watercolors. The glitziness tends to come off and kind of muddies up the paints when you use them wet-on-wet or when you are tiresome to mix with other sign.I think if one were to use them as a finisher (like shining ordinary) over by now dried sign, you would be fine and it would lend a enthusiasm to your projects. Even if, as part of a habitual palette, I don't think they work well.

I ordered these insignia after reasonably a bit of online research and am pleased to share that they did not disappoint me as they indoors. The insignia are wonderful and just gorgeous:).They are all extremely richly pigmented and the shimmer is extremely nearly sensuous. The less noteworthy water one uses, the more intense they are and the intensity is luxurious.More water lets them be sheer and shimmery. The variety of insignia and the color families built-in are extremely interesting,This makes them perfect for calligraphy too.The price is extremely reasonable.I do wish, even if,that the shipping didn't deprivation me as much as the box itself:)!

Do not be fooled by the image provided. The paint wells are not full to the top... not even half full. I like the paint itself, just feeling a bit ripped off on quantity.

I received this set a few days ago and used it before today. It gave great color and enthusiasm. I ordered it because I wanted a little bit of enthusiasm on particular areas of my watercolor landscapes, be fond of rivers, brooks, etc. and I ended up using just this set to paint a very nice landscape. unattractively definitely order it over again.

(May 2012) I use a waterbrush pen (fill up is in the soubriquet) and these paints to affect stamped descriptions for my handmade cards--the feature and might of affect is fantastic. Here is a huge shine including the intention of doesn't wipe off or stain. Its not sparkly, but definitely noticable--irridescent actually is the most excellent stretch. I not release urge, I will *categorically* be export this set ended again.(July 2013) Bring up to date: I'm soothe by this set all the calculate and pocket up again to kindness it. I urge by an eyedropper to add a few drops of fill up to all cake a few outline previous to you're equipped to paint--this will categorically yield a stronger shade and won't be sheer. You can also layer colors on top of all additional, but I recommend let one shade dry previous to adding the following. Bags of fun!

VERY pretty pearlescent water insignia.Just scan the additional reviews. They speak truth. :)I was scared the insignia would be too light, but they're perfect. Just adjust how much water you use if you need to.I love how they shimmer.

These watercolors beyond doubt leave a great sheen/enthusiasm to your print piantings. I like to use them just as highlights. They dry nicely, with a lot of shine to them. Exact, just what I was in tension for! A little will go a long way. Primarily if you use like me, just for highlighting fastidious parts of the paintings. I have not done a whole painting using only these sign, I think that would be TOO much. These little color bricks/blocks/whatever you call them, are thin, there is doubtless not as much in each well as you might suppose. But like I said, a little goes a long way! Primarily after it dries, you will see that what you planning was NOT near ample paint, will indeed dry to a spectacular shimmery shine that you sought after. One thing to note is that even if there was a slot for it at the front of the case when you open it, there is NOT a brush that comes with this set. You'll have to use your own brush. I make sure to use a small thin tipped one, and only wet the brick a little bit. Clean the brush between each color! These sign are just too darn sweet to get them all messed and mixed up with other sign. Take care of them, and this great set of sign will last you for quite a long time. I gave it 5 stars-- the price was just amazing.
