Jerry Jones: Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo is 'the best in the business in the ...

During Tony Romos tenure as the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback, which began in 2006, he has led the team on 18 come-from-behind victories in the fourth quarter.

Of course, that is often overshadowed by some of the highlight mistakes Romo has made throughout his career late in games.

But Jerry Jones chose to focus on the positive stats during a Friday morning radio interview.

The Cowboys owner and general manager was posed a scenario where the Philadelphia Eagles were up by four on Sunday and the Cowboys had the ball with two minutes remaining. Jones was then asked how confident hed be in Romo leading the team to a victory.

Im expecting to win it, Jones said on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. I hadnt booked it, but we had em against Denver. And weve got a quarterback thats the best in the business in the fourth quarter. Hes the best. He can make it happen when its not there. Other than being ahead with the ball, theres no one Id rather have at this time than to have Romo trying to get us down the field in a short period of time.

Jones was likely referring to the fact that Romo has the NFLs highest all-time fourth quarter passer rating at 101.9. The next four: Aaron Rodgers 99.2, Steve Young 97.9, Kurt Warner 91.9 and Tom Brady 91.6.
