I used this pail in a painting class with my daughters on my birthday and came home and searched all my give equipment for it before to consequence it on Amazon. It is only one of its kind in that it has three separated rinse partitions with grids on the underneath to clean your brush and then the last partition stays clean for pulling on. It also has ridges on the soubriquet to to lay your brushes flat on to dry. Great manufactured goods!

For near 40 being I've used a three-section water container as painting with watercolors, with one section for a initially rinse, one for a following rinse (because the initially rinse water eventually gets soil and I'd rather not take a brush starting there and put it honest into the clean water that I aid for mixing paints) and one for the clean water that I aid for mixing. In anticipation of discovering this water pail positively just I'd been using a 6" diameter porcelain bowl that has 3 sections (that I elected up in the city center Flax in SF in the late seventies), and it's great and I love it, save for to get it really clean I often have to go at it with Q-Tips and old toothbrushes (to get in the crevices and corners between compartments), and because I look after spatter water as I rinse brushes, I knew I would do surpass with a deeper, pail sized water holder. And the 2-liter Mijello does the trick! It holds lots of water, and the soubriquet serves as a place to put brushes as they're not in aid. It also has a compartment above and behind the last, highest water compartment (highest because as you can see in the photo, the pail is slanted) for putting a folded up paper rub down (or rag or cloth) for wiping excess water off brushes.Because I don't empty and rinse it out day after day, I graze a cut of stiff cardboard (starting a used up print paper block) in the shape of the top of the pail, so I can put it on there as I'm not painting, so the water won't assemble dust and to prevent my cat starting drink starting it. The base is somewhat oval save for has a trace just below 6" x 7".The soubriquet is nice for carrying it to a sink for cleaning. It's sort of manufacturing looking, save for I be fond of that. The plastic is thick and heavy and I imagine this pail will last a long time.
